Artist Bio

I was born in Phoenix, AZ and have spent most of my life living in or around Phoenix. I have been creating art in various forms for as long as I can remember. In 1998, when my wife and I bought our home I was asked by the man we bought the home from “Do you like working with wood or metal”. I told him wood and he told me you will learn to like metal. Somehow that conversation stuck with me and sure enough I started my interest in metal in 2000 when I worked at a foundry making bronze windbells and sculptures. My first copper piece was in September 2005. I have continued with copper as my focus and incorporate brass and bronze into some of my pieces.
