This is really an impressive piece.
The spike and roots were forged from 1/4 x 1" square bar and the leaves and flowers were made from copper sheet.
The finish is a mixture of Smart Stains by Sculpt Nouveau and were applied in such a way that you can see through them and still see the metal underneath. Before the stains were applied I used a torch to draw out color from the copper. This helps to give each element a greater amount of depth.
She stands at 30 inches tall and about 14 inches wide and weighs about 5 pounds.
